I want to find the cheapest ones, but the problem I am having is I want them to come from one location to save on shipping, i made the mistake last quarter and used book mail, and it took 4 weeks for one of my books to arrive. I need them quick, and I am willing to pay for that, but I do want them used and cheap. Any suggestions? I have used alibris, half.com Amazon and byte books. used textbooks. It seems the books come from different sellers, and I have to pay out the kazoo for shipping.

Unfortunately, you're going to pay out the kazoo on shipping no matter where you go! The main thing I tell myself is that I'm still getting the book for cheaper than the bookstore!

www.textbooks.com is fantastic. You can definitely get a couple books at a time from that site (all coming from the same location and sometimes with free shipping), and then pick up the uncommon books through Alibris.

I know your misery a bit too well! Time to start searching for the summer term textbooks!
